The Philips Foundation is delighted to announce that Robert Metzke is appointed as a new board member of the Philips Foundation. He will accompany Chairman Ronald de Jong and board members Mirjam van Reisen, Herman Wijffels, Wim Leereveld, and Sukai Ceesay.
Robert is a member of Philips’ Innovation & Strategy Management Team, where he holds a double role. He is Head of Sustainability as well as Chief of Staff Innovation & Strategy.
Robert focuses on sustainability strategy and policy development and drives the execution of structural sustainability action programs in the company. As Chief of Staff, he initiates and drives strategic programs across Innovation, Strategy, Design, IP&S, and Sustainability.
Before joining Philips, Robert worked at McKinsey & Company as a consultant where he gained 5 years of experience in strategy and innovation in the high-tech, health-care and public sectors.
